Nourish and nurture yourself with Reiki Restorative Yoga, from the comfort of your own home. This cozy class is all about being held, softening, and opening in a supportive way. There are many benefits to a restorative yoga practice, including but not limited to improving sleep, boosting immunity, balancing the nervous system, aiding in digestion, and improving mood. Restorative yoga is a wonderful way to deeply release and open the body, helping to let go and create space for all you'd like to welcome in. Reiki is a gentle form of energy healing that compliments restorative yoga. While you are resting in the restorative postures I will be sending distance Reiki (which is just as effective as hands-on Reiki). So put on something comfy, light a candle, make some tea, and enjoy the benefits of Reiki Restorative Yoga from home.
We will be using props for this class, as they allow for a deeper relaxation and opening. Please have 2-3 standard pillows (or a yoga bolster if you have), 2 blankets, and 2 thick books (or yoga blocks if you have). If you have a yoga mat you can use that, or a soft blanket is fine too. You can even do this sequence in your bed and go straight to sleep afterwards, if you'd like! Just make sure you choose a surface that feels supportive and comfortable.
